Media and Communication

The Internet has revolutionized media and communication practices, which has significant implications for the overall society. Digital spaces facilitated the emergence of alternative civic space and created a new public sphere. New media transformed the ways we communicate with others. Moreover, streaming media has changed the way we consume/produce culture. The International Research Center looks into the evolving nature of media and communication in the digital age and analyzes its impacts.  We also study the causes of disinformation/misinformation on mainstream as well as digital media and propose policy solutions.
