SIMEC Institute of Technology observed the International Mother Language Day on Sunday evening of February 20, 2022, on their institute campus. ……
Honorable President of SIMEC Institute of Technology and Dean, College of Engineering of International University of Business Agriculture and Technology, presided over the event. He said that 21st February should not be limited to just celebrating. Students need to connect with the significance of the mother language movement of 1952 and the history of the language movement. Founding Chairman of SIMEC Institute of Technology Engr. Sardar Md. Shaheen, Member of Trusty board Mrs. Afsana Khanom, Executive Director of SIMEC Group Foara Yasmin, Principal Engr. Abu Musa, Assistant General Manager, Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Coordination Manager, Shayla Jafrin participated in the discussion session.
The event was moderated by Dr. Sanjib Roy, Coordinator, International Research Center, SIMEC Institute of Technology.
A cultural program was performed after the discussion session. Later, everyone paid homage to the monument (Shaheed Minar) located at the Institute building to show respect to the martyrs of the great language movement. View More
