Uttara Centric SIMEC Institute of Technology has organized an Introductory workshop on “ETABS” (Extended Three-Dimensional Analysis of Building Systems) on Friday, 13 May 2022. Co-ordination Manager Shayla Jafrin has coordinated the entire event. The workshop was anchored by Jamal Uddin Ahmed, Assistant General Manager, Business Development Wing of SIMEC Institute of Technology. ……
The workshop began with an inspiring welcome speech by the Principal of the Institute, Engr. Md. Abu Musa. Mohammad Osman Ghone, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering of IUBAT discussed the “ETABS” course in detail and also discussed the importance of this course in the Civil Engineering field. He further discussed the structure of the course along with the method of class conduction. A discussion and Q&A session were held following a tour of the full SIMEC Institute of Technology campus.
