The Diploma in Engineering is a program focused on practical and skill-oriented training. It is a technical degree that only covers the essentials when ranked with an undergraduate engineering degree. It aims to provide students with industry or job related engineering knowledge, scientific skills, computing & analysis, and mathematical techniques, a sound knowledge of English to communicate in the job field, etc. As the curriculum and academic activities of this course is governed by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB), there are five technologies (Computer, Civil, Electrical, Electronic and Mechanical) with a seating capacity of 50. Diploma holders are able to get employment. However, only students who have passed their SSC examinations are eligible to apply here.
