SWAN, IDI, and T-HELP and inaugurated, Nepal

Dr Sanjib Roy, Director of SIMEC Institute of Technology, and Sariful Islam, Coordinator of the International Research Center, participated in the South Asian Women’s Conference held from 12 to 14 May 2024 in Kathmandu. They presented a project report titled “Exploring the Potential of Women Empowerment through Rural Tourism in Bangladesh”. The conference was jointly organized by SWAN, IDI, and T-HELP and inaugurated by Nepal’s Vice President, Ram Sahay Prasad Yadav. The Minister for Women, Children, and Senior Citizens, Bhagwati Chaudhary, also attended the event as a special guest. Nepal’s Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation was the Chief Guest of the closing ceremony.
