Many of the Universities and Institutes of developed countries like Japan, Korea, China, America, Australia and Europe require students to do research on different subjects. In recent days, it is very precious to do research work but there are crisis of students and researcher for research work. That is why the institutes of 1st world countries are seeking students from other countries to complete their research work. SIMEC Institute of Technology started its journey in the field of research through presenting research paper in international conference named World Forum on climate Justice at Glasgow Caledonian University and Glasgow University in UK by the President of the Institute Professor Dr. Md. Monirul Islam and Chairman, Engr. Sardar Md. Shaheen, which held on June, 2019. Then a climate justice forum was created by SIMEC Institute, named “Forum for Climate Justice, Bangladesh” on 25th July, 2019.
SIMEC Institute of Technology undertakes various research programs like SDG (Sustainable Development Goals), Virtual Educational System (VES). This program will include long-term and short-term research work. Long-term research may last from one to four years. Bachelor students who will do research in SIMEC Institute of Technology, they will get the chance to obtain a master / PhD degree from abroad.
